About me
I am a product designer with a visual eye and an empathetic soul. What I bring to my work is based on humanity, experience, and curiosity. What I bring to a team is rooted in enthusiasm, humor, and respect.
My experience has spanned the whole spectrum of design. Starting with graphic design, moving into digital and visual design, and eventually UX and product design. I have strengths in all those areas, but prefer product design because of its research-based solutioning and advocating for users. I enjoy the challenge of taking blue sky ideas and making them reality through feature planning, roadmap curation, user story mapping with engineering, research planning, and solutioning through collaboration and iteration.
Based in Seattle with a Midwest demeanor, I live in the Seattle area with my husband, two kids and two dogs. I love to cook, paddle board, golf, and start projects I’ll never finish. I love working with people, and people love to work with me.
I am looking to work for a company that trusts and listens to its individual contributors. I want to work for a place that values user feedback and uses research to fuel roadmaps and design decisions. Most of all I want to work somewhere that puts people and their humanity first, whether it be for the users or employees.
